Pia's Veggie-Beef Mac

recipe for 1 kilo

ingridients:

3 pcs talong (or how much you want to put) - slice in thin circles
Veggie-Beef Mac
2 carrots - chopped
1 onion - chopped
2 green pepper - diced
1/2 kilo beef
2 cans mushroom (keep water) - slice then cut into twos
2 cans prego garlic tomato sauce
2 giant packs italian spaghetti sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 kilo tomatoes - chopped
5 heads of garlic - fine chopped
1 pack of smoked bacon - cooked till crispy (set aside)
3 boxes QUESO - finely grated (keep in ref so it won't melt)
1 sm. bottle cheez-whiz
2 boxes alaska cream
salt
ground pepper (mcCormick's Pepper grind)
italian seasoning (mcCormicks)
1 can alaska evap
1 kilo pasta - cook half-way

optional:
olives - sliced
capers - dived into 4

Procedure:

Talong:
lightly grease frying pan with oilive oil - then pan grill talong.
set aside.

Main Sauce:
Saute garlic (1/4 of the 5 heads), onion and tomatoes - till tomatoes juices is spilling out.. add carrots, ground beef
toast beef till half cooked. add water from the mushroom, and tomato sauce and tomato paste.
Mix add 1/2 cup of water (use water to clean boxes of tomato sauce- para di sayang)
Stir while sauce is simmering. Add salt and pepper, italian seasoning to taste.
(note for italian seasoning: be sure to rub the seasoning in your hands before dumping into sauce - this will bring out the flavors.)
When sauce boils, add mushrooms, and 1/5 of the cheese.
Mix check if the carrots are cooked - when carrots are done - add mushrooms, talong, green pepper.
turn of flame.. leave to sit.
add olives and capers last just before you put it in the dish.

Cheese sauce:

over low heat in a sauce pan
pour in alaska cream and alaska milk. add 1 can of water.
stir continuously while adding the cheese (the rest of the cheese).
add the cheeze whiz and a pinch of salt (sea salt).
bring to boil. to thicken add cornstarch melted in water
( 2 spoons in 1/4 cup warm water - make sure na melted before you pour it in).
when thick enough. turn off heat and set aside.

The Dish:

Get any deep dish...

put in the pasta, mix in the desired sauce. top with cheese sauce.
spinkle with chopped bacon and toasted garlice bits.

Preheat oven for 20 mins. at 350 degrees
Bake in oven for 15 mins. Take out. let sit for about 5-8 minutes.
